Happy New Year! As we move into the new year, now is the perfect time to start utilizing QR codes on a couple of key items in your practice. Since the pandemic QR code usage has jumped leaps and bounds beyond any previous time. There are several websites that will create one’s for you at no charge. Start with two key areas, consumer reviews and social media. Have one code that will take them to your Google reviews and make it simple for your patients to give you that 5-star review. Have the code near your dispensing table, and ask your patients, after they have their glasses, while the optician is taking them back to clean them, to take a second and give a review. You will see a start increase in the number of reviews you get for the office.
Now let’s talk about your Facebook/Instagram social media. Create a code which directs them to your social media pages and ask them to like/follow your page. That will let them know of exclusive promotions and news about your practice. I will speak more to your social media in my next post.
